When you request an appointment or contact ZAR Bridal Gowns, we collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, styling preferences and messages. Booking records may also include your selected service, appointment time, guest count, policy acceptance, and payment or refund status.

We use your information to:

  • Communicate with you regarding your bridal consultation and appointments.
  • Process consultation fees and refunds through Stripe when online payments are available, and maintain related transaction records.
  • Schedule your appointment in our secure booking system.
  • Provide personalized styling services.

3. Data Recipients and Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use the following services to operate the website and manage appointments:

  • Stripe: When online payment is available and you choose to pay, Stripe processes your payment details and may receive contact, billing, transaction and device information for payment processing and fraud prevention. We retain payment references, amounts and payment or refund status, but do not store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe handles information under its privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. Online payments are currently unavailable.
  • Hostinger: Our website runs on Hostinger Premium Web Hosting with a PHP backend and a Hostinger-hosted MariaDB database. Customer contact details in the booking system are encrypted at application level; authorized staff can access them to deliver services. Appointment scheduling, policy acceptance and transaction references are also stored in the booking database. Hostinger provides hosting, infrastructure and backup services.
  • Appointment communications: Automated appointment emails are currently disabled. Information you provide when contacting our boutique is used to respond and manage your request. We will update this policy if we add a new communication provider that processes appointment information.

4. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to manage appointments, provide gown and after-sales services, meet accounting or legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable requirements. You may request deletion or correction; some transaction records and backup copies may remain for these purposes and the applicable backup cycle.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and record-retention requirements.
